AUSTRALIA’S new specialist blade makers Halfbreed Blades have just brought their first offering to market, the LBK-01 (Large Bush Knife).
Bridging the gap between a field knife and compact axe, the LBK-01 has been overbuilt for extreme durability and extreme use.
Halfbreed Blades have jam-packed the LBK-01 with as many features you could ever want in a field/survivalist blade making it easy to chop, drill, carve, slice and pierce.
The full tang blade is made from German 6.5mm D2 tool steel with an easily maintained razor-sharp polished cutting edge, modified drop point, generous fuller, extra large finger choil and jimping at key points.
The contoured US made linen Micarta handle scales are attached via torx fittings and also incorporates a bow drill each side for ambidextrous use. And topping it all off the LBK-01 has a crusher pommel which also includes a fire striker.
The LBK-01 comes with a US made Kydex® sheath which is precision molded for secure retention and easy maintenance. It includes both belt and PALS/MOLLE attachment options and also incorporates a secure fire steel for a totally rounded out package.
