HALFBREED BLADES, Australia’s brand new cutting edge tactical blade producer, is progressively releasing their 2020 line up of specialist combat blades.
Showcased above is their new Compact Clearance Knife (CCK-01) which doubles as a multi-purpose compact clearance tool.
Intended for specialist military and Law Enforcement professionals, this fixed blade is a one-piece full tang construction featuring a unique beveled ring design which provides no fuss accessibility and a super fast draw.
Made from Austrian 6.5mm Bohler K110 (D2) tool steel, the entire CCK-01 is overbuilt for extreme strength, durability and effectiveness in the modern combat environment.
The CCK-01 has a razor sharp, part serrated, and polished cutting edge with a modified spear point for extra piercing strength. It also features a live blade identifier three quarters of the way down the handle to enable the user to easily orientate the single cutting side by feel alone.
Beveling the ring handle and incorporating a concave thumb recess at the top of the ring is a key design element of the CCK-01, ensuring both quick and easy accessibility for a really fast draw and an extremely positive grip with the ability to aggressively thrust with downward force.
The US made G10 handle scales are secured with steel Torx fittings and have been ergonomically shaped to add to the enhanced positive grip while preventing snagging on either the moulded sheath or webbing.
The CCK-01 is Teflon coated for a hard wearing, anti-glare, low friction finish and is comes in a range of colours: Black, Dark Earth and Ranger Green with the option of a ‘trainer’ version.
