NEW FOLDING VERSION OF HALFBREED BLADE'S LARGE BUSH KNIFE
Building on the success of their popular Large Bush Knife, the LBK-01, Halfbreed Blades have introduced its sister folding version.
With a very similar design to its high performance counterpart, the new LBF-01, (Large Bush Folder) is a multi-performer designed for military, emergency responder and survivalist employment.
Overbuilt for maximum robust performance the LBF-01 is packed with popular features and a few new innovations.
A Titanium and Stainless-steel laminate frame with an overbuilt liner-lock houses the USA made 5.5mm thick S35VN super steel blade giving the LBF-01 exceptional structural integrity and an extremely secure lockup.
The blade features a deep fuller optimizing its weight distribution and the modified drop point and blade geometry are highly functional. Combined with its razor sharp (and easily maintained) edge, the LBF-01 is remarkably practical making it highly suitable for slicing, thrust cuts, woodworking (including carving), chopping, drilling, skinning, and field processing. The blade also sports a hard wearing PVD coating to prevent field corrosion and minimise glare.
Keeping you safe while you dice and slice is the extra large finger choil working in combination with the oversized flipper guard. Halfbreed Blades have also had the entire perimeter of the handle and those portions of the blade controlled by direct hand contact machine radiused to reduce abrasion and increase comfort with non-gloved hands.
The LFB-01 is fitted with Titanium handle scales and also features a heat treated and PVD coated Bohler K110 (D2) tool steel, glass breaker/crusher pommel.
As Halfbreed Blades state, "this is a Hardcore" blade.
