NEW TRACKER INSPIRED INFANTRY FIELD KNIFE

Halfbreed Blades will be releasing their new larger format Medium Infantry Field Knife, the MIK-08, at the end of this month.

New for 2023, the MIK-08 is founded on a reinterpretation of the classic Tracker, survivalist, style blade.

Halfbreed Blades has streamlined the performance and geometry of the classic Tracker and their resulting drop pointed MIK-08 is highly functional and offers remarkable overall utility.

The new MIK-08 is ideally suited to slicing, thrust cuts, wood working (including feather sticks), carving, chopping and drilling, skinning and other game processing activities, as well as chopping and slashing - making it a true workhorse of a tool.

Made from a one-piece full tang construction of Austrian made 6mm Bohler K110 tool steel with an easy to maintain razor sharp polished cutting edge, the MIK-08 is over built for durability and robust duty.

All areas of both the handle and blade that are controlled by direct contact with the user's hand have been machined bevelled to reduce abrasion and increase grip.

At the same time the oversized handguard not only protects the bare (non-gloved) hand but allows you to choke up high on the blade for delicate shaving tasks or take a lower grip for more dynamic chopping and slashing strokes.

A thumb ramp with jimping has been added to enhance the MIK-08's handling and allow for forceful downward pressure whilst maintaining precise control.

The US made G10 handle scales which are ergonomically contoured for maximum grip/control with bare hands are secured by steel torx fittings and the MIK-08 finishes with a lanyard slotted crusher pommel which is ideal for hammering or glass breaking.

Releasing on the 30th of March, the new Halfbreed Blades' Medium Infantry Knife is an ideal choice for both infantry, field enthusiasts and survivalists.
